Clotted Cream


The taste of English Clotted Cream is smooth, creamy and utterly delicious. It is shipped fresh from the farms and small dairies near the Devon and Cornwall counties of England, and is fantastic on scones, or any type of morning breads. Try it with sweet strawberry or raspberry preserves for an intense flavorful experience! Clotted Cream achieves its thick clotted texture by heating unpasteurized cow’s milk of high-fat breed cows to about 190°F and allowing it to cool slowly for several hours. During cooling, the cream content rises to the surface and forms ‘clots.’ The consistency is thick and heavy. Clotted Cream should be stored unopened in a cool place without refrigeration and will keep for many months. Once it is opened it should be consumed within 3 days. Please Note: From March through October, NEXT DAY AIR must be chosen for the clotted cream to guarantee it will arrive to you in good condition.
