Travel through the vibrant streets of Kathmandu and into the serene tea estates of Nepal in this immersive lecture. Discover the journey of the tea leaf from harvest to production, and meet the remarkable people who cultivate it. Danielle shares personal experiences from her travels, including a warm welcome at the Guranse Tea Estate in Dhankuta, dancing with the kind and generous people at Buddha’s Tea Estate in Ilam, and the warmth and generosity of Nishchal and his family at the Organic KTE Tea Estate in Panchthar. Along the way, explore stunning temples, landscapes, and village life through storytelling and photography. Guests will also enjoy tastings of specialty teas from Nepal, connecting culture, place, and flavor in every sip.
