Tea Pairing
Tea and Honey Pairing
Join Bee Keeper Michele Decoteau and Danielle for an interactive and tasty evening of tea and honey pairing!

We will start with how bees make honey and how both the terroir – or flavor of the land – and the flower source influences the color, flavor, and texture of the honey. You will learn how beekeepers extract honey and how and why to choose a single source – or varietal – honey for food and drink pairings. We will explore a mixed-source wildflower honey that holds all the flavors of the summer as well as regional varietal honeys and tea. Finally, we will explore fireweed honey, one of the most delicate honeys. Questions about tea and honey are always welcome.
