25 Years of Tea, Community, and Connection
The Cozy Tea Cart began as a small home-based tea shop. As its popularity grew, the business expanded multiple times, eventually moving to a larger, centrally located building in Brookline, New Hampshire. For the next 13 years, it flourished as a retail tea shop, offering high-quality teas, accessories, and unique specialty gifts, as well as a welcoming destination for guests. The space also featured a dine-in café, traditional Afternoon Tea service, and seasonal outdoor garden dining. During this time, The Cozy Tea Cart cultivated a loyal community of customers and became a hub for connection over tea.
A New Chapter for The Cozy Tea Cart
After 25 years in business, in May of 2026, The Cozy Tea Cart transitioned to focus on its well-established e-commerce website. This shift allows customers to enjoy the convenience of browsing their favorite teas anytime, day or night. While the storefront experience has changed, the heart of The Cozy Tea Cart remains the same: connection, comfort, and a shared appreciation of tea.
What Has Changed:
- In-store shopping will be available on Open Shop Saturdays which are on select weekends from 10 AM – 2 PM (dates can be found on our Events page).
- The café space will be reserved for classes and special events
- Online ordering and local pick-up will continue to be available anytime
Sharing Tea Experiences
Danielle’s passion and mission at The Cozy Tea Cart have centered on educating others about tea —through lectures, tastings, and one-on-one conversations held both on-site and throughout the community, including libraries, corporate wellness programs, schools, colleges, and a wide range of local organizations. These experiences have created meaningful connections, shared knowledge, and moments of enjoyment centered around tea.
This new chapter expands those opportunities even further. We will be offering special events, tea tastings, and occasional in-person shopping days, with dates announced on our Events page. We hope you will join us for these experiences and take the time to slow down, connect, and enjoy tea together.
