This is an exceptional tea with the smooth balance of a lightly sweet green tea with a rich aroma. In Japan, these plants are shaded during the final stages of growing. This causes a higher chlorophyll content giving the final leaf a deep green color. A uniquely special tea, it is sometimes referred to as a dessert tea, or a celebratory tea.
