These beautifully exquisite black pearls come from the Yunnan province of China, the area that is believed to be the birthplace of tea. The infusion produces a rich and smooth depth of flavor that is well-balanced. It has a slight sweetness with subtle earthy tones and cocoa notes. These pearls have little bitterness or astringency. Only one pearl is needed for each infusion, and you can re-steep them several times.

One of the very few black teas from here that I found disappointing. It just didn’t have as much flavor as I was expecting. If you like a weaker tea, this might be your proverbial cup of tea. :^)
