Roasted Oolong
This Shui Xian oolong, with its long, black twisted leaves, is produced in the famous Wuyi mountains in the Fujian province of China (Shui Xian translates to ‘Water Sprite’). At 3,000 ft elevation, these tea bushes are grown in the gaps of the mountainous rock well-known in this area, providing this oolong with an extremely unique mineral ‘rock taste.’ It is a higher oxidized tea with a beautiful amber infusion. This exquisite oolong offers a complexity of rich flavors of soft, toasty, woodsy, minerals with a slight peppery, apricot finish. It holds up well to multiple infusions.
