Mother's Day Greetings

I just came upon a Mother's Day email that my friend Julie sent me last year.  It's a story about a mother feeling that she was invisible around her family. One day, she was having dinner with a friend who gave her a special gift - a book on the great cathedrals of Europe. The inscription read, "to my dear friend, with admiration for the greatness of what you are building when no one sees." The stories in this book helped her keep the right perspective in how she was raising her children, allowing her to continue on quietly to build 'great cathedrals'.  She learned that the many things she did for her children may seem to go unnoticed, but that one day, the world might marvel, not only at what she had built, but at the beauty that would be added to the world by her sacrifices.

We would like to wish all our customers, 'the invisible woman' who are quietly making a better change in the world, a beautiful and restful Mother's Day.

Sincerely,

Darjeeling Royal Garden - FTGFOP1  A lovely first flush Darjeeling known for its floral fragrance, slightly sweet notes and fresh aroma. Darjeeling teas are grown and harvested in the mountainous Himalayan area in northern India. This first flush is a blend from several of the most popular tea gardens. The infusion is light to medium-bodied offering a lingering finish.

Formosa Jade Oolong  This rich, aromatic tung-ting style oolong is an exceptional value from the Tung Ting Mountains of Taiwan. Grown at over 6000 feet, this lightly oxidized, hand-made oolong is very smooth with a light floral finish and subtle complexities.  This is an enchanting, superb and refreshing tea that when sipped, will leave you believing you've found your own little treasure.

Pi Lo Chun  This tea is harvested in the Dong Ting Mountains in the Jiansu province of China. During the processing of this leaf, the bud and leaf are rolled into a tight spiral to hold in the freshness longer. The steeped tea is clear yellow with a light green tint and offers a fresh, crisp, and slightly sweet flavor. This delicious tea was originally called 'astounding fragrance' for centuries because of the aroma from the fresh leaves taking on the fragrance of nearby peach, plum and apricot tree blooms early in spring. You'll be reminded of this in each sip!
