Mother's Day Greetings
I just came upon a Mother's Day email that my
friend Julie sent me last year. It's a story
about a mother feeling that she was invisible
around her family. One day, she was having
dinner with a friend who gave her a special gift
- a book on the great cathedrals of Europe. The
inscription read, "to my dear friend, with
admiration for the greatness of what you are
building when no one sees." The stories in this
book helped her keep the right perspective in
how she was raising her children, allowing her
to continue on quietly to build 'great
cathedrals'. She learned that the many things
she did for her children may seem to go
unnoticed, but that one day, the world might
marvel, not only at what she had built, but at
the beauty that would be added to the world by
her sacrifices.
We would like to wish all our customers, 'the
invisible woman' who are quietly making a better
change in the world, a beautiful and restful
Mother's Day.
