Greetings to
The Cozy
Tea Cart's
newsletter members.
We hope you had the time to enjoy your
holidays with your family and friends, and would like to wish
everyone a joyful and prosperous New Year! As we settle back into
our regular schedules, and begin to put into place our New Years
resolutions, why not add another to your list that you know will
be easy to stick with…that you will drink at least 3-4 cups of tea
a day! Tea is delicious, inexpensive and easy to prepare. The
health benefits of tea are another reason to sip a cuppa. Here are
some you may not be aware of: Tea can help ward of germ-fighting
immune cells; aid in reducing and maintaining weight; and
potentially lowering the risk of certain diseases. Tea has no
calories, sweeteners or artificial additives and will provide you
with good energy to get you through the cold winter and beyond!
January is National Hot Tea Month, so what better way to start
your new year, than with a warm, healthy cup of tea. Visit our
selection of
fine
quality teas, or

If you resolved to lose weight in 2007,
one type of tea you may want to consider is Oolong (also referred
to as Wulong) tea. These incredibly fragrant and delicious teas
offer more than just a fantastic cup of tea. Oolong tea not only
contains anti-oxidants and amino acids, but it has properties that
stimulate your metabolism and can help you lose weight naturally.
In combination with a healthy diet and exercise, oolong tea may
help you shed pounds while boosting your metabolism and
strengthening your immune system. This information and more
detailed information can be found in a study published in the
Journal of Medical Investigation, Osaka University.
The
Cozy Tea Cart
offers a variety of
Oolong teas that can help you get started on your path
to good health!
Since
many of us are thirsting for more knowledge on healthy eating, why
not consider other ways to utilize the health benefits of tea—such
as cooking with tea? The origins of the wellness of tea date back
to ancient times. The Chinese and Japanese have always known the
value of drinking tea, and green tea is still today a prevalent
ingredient of their modern day lifestyles, by both drinking and
cooking with tea (with rice, soups, and many other dishes). This
is one of the reasons we have chosen “Cooking with Tea” as our
seasonal contest. We would like to challenge you to use one of
your existing recipes, or create a new recipe with one of
The
Cozy Tea Cart's
teas as a healthy ingredient! Why not take advantage of all the
health benefits that tea has to offer? Your family will thank you
for serving them a delicious and nutritious meal! For more
details on our seasonal contest,
click here. And to offer you a head start on your
cooking, why not start with our new product,
CAMELLIA TEA OIL. This oil is low in saturated fat and
high in healthy monounsaturated fat. This ideal cooking oil is
perfect for todays healthy lifestyles and provides a unique blend
of omega fatty acids that contribute to good health. Stop by our
store to pick up a bottle, and start eating better by cooking with
Camellia Tea Oil!
