Greetings
to The Cozy Tea Cart newsletter members,
While Autumn is here, we
experience frosty nights, sunny days and leaves changing color. We
are harvesting the remaining foods from our gardens, or enjoying the
abundant harvest from our local farm stands. The farmers and their
laborers work long hard days of gathering the fruits and vegetables
in the fields, rushing each day to make the most of the days yield
to beat Mother Nature to the first frost. As with local farming,
the tea farmers work long days picking the perfect tea leaves,
beginning in early spring, through the sweltering hot summer
weather, and into the cool fall harvest. So as we settle into our
new fall schedules, preparing harvest foods and sipping the perfect
cup of tea, why not take a moment to reflect on the efforts of the
farmers and laborers who brought these foods to our table.

your artwork medium. All forms of artwork will be considered.

dental decay. Public health nutritionist Dr. Carrie Ruxton tells
BBC News, "Drinking tea is actually better for you than drinking
water. Water is essentially replacing fluid. Tea replaces fluids
and contains antioxidants, so it’s got two things going for it."
