We welcome author Cynthia Gold and her co-writer Lise Stern!

Cindy is the Tea Sommelier at the Boston Park Plaza; a Culinary Chef; and author of the book, ‘Culinary Tea’. She will demonstrate “Cooking with Tea” using recipes from her book throughout the day. Cindy has actively been combining teas with food for the last twelve years, has traveled the world teaching chefs her culinary tea techniques, has received numerous awards, and has been featured in magazines and publications world-wide. You won’t want to miss this delicious demo and tasting – an inspiring and artful experience for the home cook or restaurant chef!

Julian Landa has been a surrealist artist for over 30 years. He studied at Vesper George School of Art and The School of The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. His paintings hang in numerous private collections in this country as well as in Europe,Israel and the Asian countries. Julian will be exhibiting 6 prints from his "Surreal Infusions" tea artwork collection and will have prints available for sale. When asked about what inspired him to create the 'tea' artwork, he responded, "Tea can be fun and playful, it can be sophisticated, it can be comforting, it can be nourishing. In a myriad of ways, it relates to all aspects of our lives and the world around us. As an artist, I enjoyed expressing these ideas, feelings and images in my 'Surreal Infusions Series."

Elizabeth received her professional chef training from Madeleine Kamman, a French-born cooking teacher, chef and restaurateur extraordinaire. Madeleine's cooking school Modern Gourmet and restaurant Chez la Mère Madeleine, were located in Newton, Massachusetts in the 1970's and 1980's. Elizabeth stresses the use of traditional, healthful ingredients, following the Nourishing Traditions principles of the Weston A. Price Foundation. She explains that, "Dining in is the new dining out. We provide the highest quality, all homemade meals for those without the time, desire, or ability to cook for themselves." Whether catering a dinner party, bridal or baby shower, facilitating an interactive cooking party, providing a multi-meal service or holiday meal support, or teaching, she is delighted to be enriching others' lives with fine food.
