On February 2, 2008, Community Caregivers is hosting their third annual Potter's Bowl fundraiser.  This year will be structured a bit differently.  There will be two separate entry times: 4pm and 6pm.  No early entries will be admitted.  There will be 100 tickets available for each sitting.  Half the food and selection of bowls will be reserved for each sitting. For a $25 ticket, patrons are able to pick a handcrafted pottery bowl, all donated by local New Hampshire artists. There will be over twenty different types of soup donated from local restaurants around the Derry area as well as breads from Panera and desserts from Super Suppers and local grocers. We will also be awarding the best soups in two categories, people’s choice and judge’s choice.  Three celebrity judges have been selected to attend.  The world famous Red Star Twirlers will be serving at the event. Musical entertainment provided by Simply the Best Entertainment and a raffle of over 25 items donated from other New England artists and craftsmen.  Raffle items include oil paintings, acrylic paintings, matted photography, watercolor, and handcrafted jewelry, just to name a few! The value of all art donated amounts to over $5,000.
