As you may or may not know, Maggie Carroll of Bellingham, Massachusetts has been a patient at the Jimmy Fund Clinic since her diagnosis of a rare brain tumor in August 2005. As friends and family of Maggie, we have seen, firsthand, the wonderful care that is provided by this organization and all who work there. In addition, we have met so many caring individuals who have shown support throughout Maggie’s diagnosis and treatment. This year, the team formerly known as “Maggie’s Marchers” has merged with Team BTC (Brain Tumor Clinic). We are striving to raise $10,000 so that we can direct our donation specifically to the Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Brain Tumor Clinic at the Jimmy Fund where Maggie, along with many other children, receives treatment. Maggie’s strength, perseverance and refusal to give up on life have amazed all of us. She is a true “fighter” and we continue to be in awe of her upbeat attitude and outlook on life.

Team BTC is hosted an event to raise funds on August 16, 2007 at Copperfield’s in Boston. The evening included live music, food, drink and a silent auction.
