Tea Travels Through China
Learn all about traveling throughout China, from the tea fields of the Hunan Province to those of Anhui. We will present tea rooms in Shanghai and Beijing as well as historical ancient sites. The processing and harvesting of tea will be covered as well as Danielle's personal experiences with the growers and people of these countries. Throughout the presentation, enjoy sipping teas harvested directly from these tea estates.

Bring your appetite! Throughout this lecture, you will sample a variety of seasonal foods cooked with the newest ‘secret’ ingredient— - tea! Danielle will teach you how tea can enhance your food and you will benefit by the essential nutrients, vitamins and antioxidants found in tea. The teas used in the food will also be sampled for each recipe. Handouts about the tea and cooking with tea will be available. Easy to follow step-by-step recipes will be provided to all participants so they can re-create the recipe at home!

An educational and fun hands-on learning experience in the art of blending tea! We will examine the countries of origin, health benefits and flavor profiles of the base teas used. You will learn why we choose certain herbs, spices, flowers, fruit, and flavorings and the health benefits of these ingredients. Create your own 2 oz bag of custom blended tea using a variety of ingredient combinations that complement each other. You will leave the class with a solid understanding of the ingredients and the background of the teas in your own unique blend!
